Add a new Page
New pages can be added thru the page creation wizard.
- Select a Template
To add a new page, begin by selecting the template that you would like to use for the page. You can preview this template at any time to make sure it is correct. Following this, click the next button to proceed. The following steps are where you will set the name and title of the page, its location and Meta infomation.
- Location
The location shown below is where your new page will be created. If you would like to change this location, click on the "change" link and choose a new folder location for the new page.
- Page title / details
Please give the new page a Name and Title. The Page Name is how the page is referenced in the FireBird CMS software. The Page Title is what is shown on the title bar of a browser when the page is viewed.
- Meta Information
The Meta Discription is what is used by search engines to describe the page. It it usually shown on a search results page undeaneath the title and link to the page itself. The Meta Keywords are partly used by search engines to rank a page aswell as being search key words.The Index checkbox specifies if an indexing robot or web site crawler should include this page in search services. The Follow checkbox specifies if a robot or web site crawler is welcome to follow links from this page to find other pages.
